Pearson-Arastradero Preserve

A 622-acre city preserve of grassland and oak hills off Arastradero Road, with about 10 miles of trails.

Officially the Enid W. Pearson-Arastradero Preserve, it protects most of the Arastradero Creek watershed. Its trails are open to hikers, cyclists and horseback riders, and one gate links to Foothills Nature Preserve on the Bay-to-Ridge Trail.

Deer, bobcats, coyotes and many birds live there, and bald eagles nested near Felt Lake from 2016 to 2020.
